About the Firm

James F. Anderson, CPA was established in July 1986.  From the beginning, the firm has focused on providing large firm quality to small and medium sized businesses. 

Over the years James F. Anderson, CPA has gathered a team of accounting professionals that provides clients with accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services for businesses and individuals.  The diversity of our experience allows us to service a wide variety of industries.

Our approach begins with a thorough understanding of our client's accounting systems and procedures.  Throughout the process, we use sophisticated audit and accounting software and computerized procedures to ensure the most accurate and cost-effective engagement for all our clients.

James attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey.  He received his CPA in 1978 while working for Ernst and Young.  He later became the university-wide Controller of the University of Medicine and Dentistry (UMDNJ) in Newark, New Jersey.  Upon leaving UMDNJ in 1986, James founded the firm
